Spurs rule out Beckham signing

Spurs boss Martin Jol has admitted that it is extremely unlikely that David Beckham will join Spurs in the summer. There has been a fair bit of speculation recently regarding Beckham and Spurs, fuelled by Spurs chairman Daniel Levy refusing to rule out a move for the England captain. But Jol scoffed at this stating:

"It's all hypothetical but we already have a couple of good players in that position. David Beckham is a star player and he's playing for Real Madrid, so why should I think about that sort of thing?"
