Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are today being heavily linked with Auxerre schemer Bonaventure Kalou. Reports emerging from France state that the Premiership duo are looking to recruit the player in the summer.
At the moment Marseille are considered the front runners for the five million pound star, but the thought of a move to England could tempt the ambitious player, who has stated that this is likely to be his last season with Auxerre.
Speaking to France Football Kalou stated:
"It is true that I signed a five-year contract when I came to AJA and I still have three years remaining on my contract.”
"I respect everyone at the club but let's say Auxerre is a good little club. “
"I know I have the ability to reach a higher level. I am convinced I am able to play for any European club. “
"If I know a great club want me and the offer is attractive, why not? “
"My ambition is to sign for a big team as soon as possible."
