Gianni De Biasi has been sacked by Brescia just a day after the club insisted his job as manager was safe.
The Italian club are in relegation trouble, losing their last match 1-0 to Udinese, with just 5 wins from 23 games.
De Baisi’s departure is the 10th in Serie A this season and the club are yet to name a replacement Alberto Cavasin is been touted as the man for the job.
President Gino Corioni yesterday stated:
"In order to renew our faith in the Coach, you firstly have to doubt him."
"But that hasn’t happened. Gianni De Biasi does not run the risk of being replaced by us."
