Charlton want Valencia ace

According to the Italian and Spanish press Charlton Athletic have made an offer for Valencia's Bernardo Corradi. Alan Curbishley is known to want to strengthen his squad during the transfer window and sees Corradi as an ideal addition to the side that suffered a recent defeat to Blackburn. Corradi initially failed to warm to life in Valencia and was said to be struggling to adapt, but recently it looked like he had placed all that behind him and it could now be very difficult to prise the player away from Valencia in the short term.
