Arsenal offer confirmed by Atalanta

As reported here last week, Arsenal are after young Italian keeper Andrea Consigli. President Ivan Ruggeri said: "Arsenal have offered £100,000 to Consigli. "At this point he could go to England, although I don't think he will leave Atalanta. Well he may not believe his young star will stay, but he is alone in this with just about every Italian paper stating that he will be on his way to England in the summer.

Although most definitely one for the future he has impressed many and a lot in Italy are calling for the end to this young talent drain that is seeing more and more stars jumping ship for life in the premiership.
