Charlton and Palermo close in on Lopez

The race for Racing club striker Lisandro Lopez, is set to become a 2 horse race very soon. A host of clubs from around Europe were chasing the young centre forward who has scored 11 goals in 17 games for Racing Club in the Apertura. Now with the likes of Dynamo Kiev dropping out, it is left up to Palermo and Charlton to meet the expected 3 million asking price, with Charlton expected to make the first move as soon as the transfer window opens.
