Spurs and Liverpool lose to Inter in Davids chase

In what was fast becoming part of a modern opera it seams like Inter are at last the fat lady and are indeed singing. Liverpool, Spurs and yesterday Chelsea had all according to reports signied the pitbull that is Edgar Davids. But now the 27 stone woman singing that she is starving to death is, Inter Milan. Which we managed to report on here last week, before getting caught up in Davids or his agents games.

There does seam to have been a fair chance however that he might of signed for Spurs, the Chelsea thing appears made up and Liverpool was a non-starter, but why the mystery and off putting I will leave to people to make their own minds up. I am just grateful for the story to be at an end. Hopefully anyway, I am not ruling out a second or third or tenth change of mind.

But anyway to the facts that I know, he is coming to Inter from Barcelona where he has been on loan, before that he played for Inter's city rivals Milan and Juventus where he enjoyed most of his success in Italy. His reported salary is 3.5 million Euros per season, although it awaits to be seen if a player that claimed he couldn't manage on 65,000 pound a week, can cope with such a paltry wage, I will of course be there to see and man that soup kitchen should he run out of cash.
