Overmars, Newcastle, Man city or Inter?

Two premership sides and one Serie A team have revealed thier interest in Barcelona winger Marc Overmars, it is understood that he will have talks with Inter today and Newcastle later in the week before making up his mind. Man City are watching the situation but are thought to be outsiders at best for his signature.

No matter where he goes, he is going to have to accept a pay cut of up to 50% on his current salary of 2 million.

At the moment Italian and spanish press have it about even between Newcastle and Inter on where he will end off, with the Spanish favouring Newcastle and the Italian leaning towards Inter.

Although the impending arrival of friend and countryman Patrik Kluivert could just tip the balance in the favour of Newcastle.
