Milan, Chelsea or Liverpool for Baros?

After what can only be described as a sensational tournament for Liverpool's Milan Baros, you have to ask what is the next move for the young striker. Five goals and a likely golden boot for a player who struggles to get off the bench at Anfield, could be difficult to take for the young star. With offers apparent from AC Milan, it could be enough to tempt him away, from his place on the bench to a place in Serie A. Another option would appear to be Chelsea with their new goalkeeper and international team mate Peter Cech, encouraging his countryman to move to London.

But a stay at Liverpool under a new manager might remain a tempting solution to his imediate future, this could be clouded however with the arrival of Djibril Cisse, it looks unlikely that Owen will move anywhere so Baros could find himself once more on the bench.

However his international team-mates think it will be impossible for Rafael Benitez, not to give him an extended run in the side after his performance at EURO 2004.

But for Baros himself the temptation to move away must be great and it is for this reason, that I believe he will move. Milan have the tradition and the money to attract almost anyone and must be in with a fair chance and have recently been making all the right noises towards a completion of that very goal.

Chelsea on the other hand definately have the money and a chance to be a part of another Russian reveloution may well be tempting, to the young striker, with team-mate and friend Peter Cech already installed at Stamford Bridge, he would also have a familiar face.

So unless Liverpool suddenly re-discover Baros and bench one of there other strikers I see him moving.
