Spurs look on as Udinese slam Juventus over Jankul

Pierpaolo Marino who is the Director General at Udinese has taken an extrodinary swipe at Juventus over their tactics in attempting to lure Marek Jankulovski to Turin. Although Juventus have confirmed their interest in the Czech Republic international, they are yet to make a firm offer for him. "At the moment," quoted Marino, "there is nothing scheduled with Moggi for a meeting. He wants Jankulovski, but up to now they have offered nothing concrete.

"We want this situation to be over soon. As there exists offers from other clubs.

"Our line is to wait for the end of the Euros for eventual definitive operations."

"We are bulding a good relationship with a Premership club, and to contrast the open way negotations have went forward, with the way Juventus have acted, is to contrast night and day"

Spurs have made an intial offer of 5 Million and unless Juventus get their act together soon, it looks like they could lose their long time interest in the player, who is looking closer to a move to the Premership.

Of course so far there has been nothing from the player himself, as he has the small matter of a Euro semi-final to keep him busy and nothing is expected to happen until after the tournament.
