Capello quits Roma for Juventus

Roma's manager Fabio Capello has quit Roma and the capital for a life in Turin with Juventus. Juventus have been looking for a new manager since parting company with Marcello Lippi and have given Capello a 3 year contract. Juve had been widely tipped to be managed by either Didier Deschamps next season, but it seams that Juventus have cashed in on Roma's financial difficulities and landed themselves one of the most respected managers in Italy. It has been rumoured for some time that Capello was growing increasingly frustrated with the problems at Roma, but satill this move came as a bit of a shock, after he has in the past stated that he would never manage Juventus.

The sale of Samuel was rumoured to have been the last straw for Capello, who decided to look for pastures new and with Juventus having a diapointing season by their own standards this could be an ideal partnership.
