Chelsea lose out to Madrid and Juve in bid for St

Walter Samuel is an ex-roma player after he agreed to join Real Madrid in a deal worth almost 18 Million. Chelsea were desperate to land the defender, but the lure of Real all stars was too much and the deal was seamingly completed today. The deal closely follows the exit of Jonathan Zebina from the club and the situation must be begining to look like rats leaving a sinking ship to Roma fans, it is being reported that Samuel will net around 3 million pounds a season in his time with Madrid.

It is looking likely that Chelsea may lose out on another Roma star as Brazilian midfielder Emerson looks set to join Juventus.
