Middlesbrough in for Roma player

Middlesbrough are to make an aproach to Roma for defender Vincent Candela. Candela is in the final year of his current contract at Roma and the club from the capital are inviting offers for the French International Boro have previously tried to land the left sided Defender, but Roma rejected their aproach to take Candela on a 12 month loan, insisting that they are only willing to go for a straight cash deal.
