The signing of AS Roma's Midfielder Emerson, looks a little more straight forward this morning after Inter Milan look almost certain to leave negotations after baulking at the price quoted by Roma, which leaves the path open for Juventus and Chelsea. Roma Chief Franco Baldini has previously stated that Emerson will be allowed to leave at the end of the season for the right price, it just now appears that the right price is too high for Inter.

Roma are believed to want 10 Million pound plus Cristiano Zanetti for their midfield ace. According to most papers this morning Chelsea are now overwhelming favourites to sign the player, with Juventus believing he is overpriced in todays market as well.
