AC Milan Inter and Manchester United all stepped up the pace, in order to secure the signature of Boca Juniors Star Carlos Tevez. Bayern Munich were also interested but have now appeared to withdraw.
It is believed that Manchester United may have taken an early lead in the race for the stiker who is rated as the 'new Maradona' in his home country, as he has already made some contact with Boca about his availabilty.
But both Milan clubs will be hoping that their long relationship with the club and the Country will help them eventually land the prize.
Although Tevez, is going to arrive with huge expectations so many players over the years have been labled the new Maradona only to flop when confronted with the reality of life in Seria A, Boca Juniors believe Tevez is the real article, but I guess only time will tell.
