Italian Football News Batigol the prodigal returns

Gabriel Batistuta, confirmed that he is ready and wants to return for one last season in Italy with Fiorentina, Currently playing in Qatar, with Al Arabi, he has been quoted as saying that he wants to end his career with former club Fiorentina. "I'm feeling great. My ankle injury is clearing up and I'm confident I'll be in great shape to return to Fiorentina," declared Batistuta yesterday.

"But I will only return to Fiorentina if I am confident of again being their Batigol. If I don't think my body is up to it, then I won't come back."

He is still loved in Florence and providing he is up to it, it could very well be a case of the prodigal returns.
