Manchester United and Chelsea are both interested in bringing Roma star Antonio Cassano, to the premership. Roma's financial difficulties have led both premership sides to believe that they have a good chance to land the Italian starlet.
Offers thought to be in excess of 27 million are in preperation. But it is maybe not as cut and dried, Roma are desperate to hang onto their star, who has linked up so well with his teamate Francesco Totti.
Also the deal with some Russian business men to buy Roma may not be as dead in the water as first appeared, which could in theory get the Roman club out of any trouble they are in finacialy.
Cassano has also generated interest from inside Italy, with Inter Milan, however it is thought that the english clubs can outbid Inter, should Cassano be allowed to move.
