Inter and Milan battle it out for Chelsea star.

Inter Milan and Ac Milan are set for a new round of hostilities, this time over Chelsea keeper Carlo Cudicini, who looks almost certain to be leaving Stamford Bridge in the summer. Chelsea who are forkin out £9million to French outfit Rennes for Czech Republic keeper Petr Cech, would seam to have little choice but to play their new signing, and it is hard to see a player of Cudicini's standards being happy warming the bench.

AC Milan are favourites to land the keeper, and it was in fact with Milan that Carlo began his career, but they are set to face competition from rivals Inter, who are set to replace Toldo after a miserable run of form, from the Italian stopper.

Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri insists that he wants Cudicini to remain at Stamford Bridge but that would surely depend on first team football, and its no secret that international call ups would be easier for Cudicini to achieve if he was playing in Seria A week in week out.
