Recoba Banned for Inter's game with Roma

Despite having his banned reduced from 2 games to 1, Alvaro Recoba will still have to sit out, the Roma game. He was handed the ban earlier this week, after video evidence was examained from the 3-1 defeat to Bresica. He was seen grabbing Markus Schopp around the throat after a mini scuffle developed.

They also apealed against Dejan Stankovic’s 2 match ban, but the disciplinary commission concluded that a 2 match ban was waranted and imposed a fine of £2,000
