Robinho plays down Spurs link

Real Madrid striker, Robinho has denied rumours that he is set to leave the Spanish capital, next summer. The Brazilian is currently not a regular starter for Fabio Capello's team, which lead to transfer rumours in the Spanish papers. Spanish paper Marça reported earlier today that Robinho is not looking for a move away from Spain. He responded to the rumours that linked him to, Premiership midtable battlers, Tottenham Hotspur.

"Reports that I'd move to Tottenham are wide off the mark. If I had to leave Real, I'd choose to join another big club. I don't regard Tottenham Hotspur as a big club."
