Olympique Marseille chairman, Jose Anigo has confirmed interest for his star player Franck Ribery. Earlier this week reports claimed that Arsenal had agreed a first option on Ribery.
According to the chairman there is no agreement with any club, although he admitted that there has been talks on going with Arsenal.
"Arsene Wenger has been here to talk about Ribery but there were several other interested parties who held talks with us about Franck (Ribery). In fact there's a whole list of interested clubs, too many to name."
It's unlikely that Marseille will part with their biggest asset next January though.
"We are an ambitious club. Our target is to qualify for the Champions League this season, if we want to achieve that goal we need the best players to stay."
"When we do not qualify for the Champions League we will see what happens"
