Malouda signs on for Lyon

Olympique Lyon have succeeded in tying Florent Malouda longer to the club. The 26-year old left winger has signed a contract extension which will keep him at the club untill the summer of 2011. Malouda joined Lyon from Guingamp three years ago. Ever since he has been in the first team. The France international scored already four times in six Ligue 1 appearances.

Malouda's brilliant performances for both club and country lead to interest from all over Europe. Ac Milan, Juventus, Inter Milan and Manchester United all tried to sign him before.
