French winger David Ginola has told West Brom that he doesn't want to move to the Midlands club. New Everton boss David Moyes has told Ginola that he is not in his plans and is free to leave before his contract expires in the summer. Bids for Kevin Cooper and Jason Koumas are still in the open but neither player has showed any great interset in the Baggies. Ironically Koumas could snub West Brom for Everton after Moyes showed an interest in the Welsh international. Megson has also announced that he has had a bid for a 2nd Division striker turned down. Meanwhile Slovakian defender Igor Ballis has announced his retirement from international football.

Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore has had bids for both Brentford's Llyod Owusu and Notts County's Danny Allsopp rejected. Moore is keen to add some firepower to his team and sees both as ideal for his team. Both are scoring freely in Division 2. Moore revealed that he offered £200,000 for Owusu and £300,000 for Allsopp.

Gillingham have turned down an offer for Chris Hope from Barnsley. The popular defender who was signed from Scunthorpe has been attracting interest for Tykes boss Steve Parkin. Gills chairman Paul Scally told that Tykes that Hope will not be sold and hopes are that he will sign a new contract soon. Barnsley are also keeping tabs on Hope's younger brother Richard who is attracting admirers playing for Northampton.

Man City's Paul Ritchie could be set for a loan move to Premiership Bolton Wanderers. Bolton boss Sam Allardyce is desperate for TWO centre backs following injuries to Gudni Bergsson and Mike Whitlow. Bruno N'Gotty is the only fit recognised centre back at the Reebok resulting in Allardyce's frantic search. Rithcie has failed to establish himself in City's side this season making just 11 apperances.

Former England keeper Tim Flowers is keen for a move to Coventy in the summer. Plans for the stopper to stay on-loan at Highfield Road till the end of the season were hit by a 24-hour call back clause that Leicester insisted upon. Flowers will be granted a free transfer by The Foxes in the summer.
