Crystal Palace striker Dougie Freedman has signed a new deal to keep him at the club for the next 4 years. With the departure of last seasons' strike partner, Clinton Morrison, there was worry that Freedman would be reluctant to sign but Palace fans and boss Trevor Francis can breath a sigh of relief.

It seems that Freedman is happy at Palace and looking forward to forming a new partnership with Andy Johnson.

Freedman moved to Palace in Ocotber 2000 and has established himself as a fans favourite.
