Rotherham boss Ronnie Moore has confirmed his interest in former Coventry full back Marcus Hall. Having left Coventry at the end of last season, Hall headed for Premiership new boys West Brom in a bid to impress enough for a contract. The Baggies weren't impressed enough though and Hall headed to Nottm Forest where despite impressing he learnt that the club wasn't in a position to offer a deal.
Moore told the clubs website that he feels that with Hall's options running out he will have to accept a lower wage, one that Rotherham can afford to offer. ``I feel sorry for Hall - he's a top quality player. He went to West Brom thinking they were going to sign him but they said no and now he has gone to Forest in the hope they will sign him.
``If they say no you are going to have a quality player available, the type who wanted £8,000 a week not long ago but now faces the reality of having no club.
``That means we might be able to pinch a gem.''
