Paul Groves and his assistant Graham Rodger will sign three-year contracts at Grimsby Town tomorrow morning. A press release on the clubs official website states that Groves and Rodger will attend a press conference and put pen to paper on new three-year deals tomorrow morning at 9:30am, Blundell Park.

This brings an end to 2 months of worries for Grimsby fans as to whether the respected duo would sign or not.

Whilst Groves has been the focal point of the attention, his assistant Graham Rodger has been an unsung hero. Having played for the club for several years the goalscoring centre back was a cult hero at Blundell Park and many fans were delighted that he stayed at the club in a youth capacity. Rodger was promoted to assistant from Football in the Community officer 6 months ago and has worked wonders with Groves.
