News round up from the last few days. Magnus Hedman's proposed transfer to Espanyol now seems in doubt after the Spanish club look set to sign Barcelona keeper Richard Dutruel. The Sweedish international is desperate to move away from Highfield Road and will be upset at the news. Arsenal keeper Alex Manninger has already agreed terms with Espanyol and with the likely transfer of Dutreul next week it is unlikley that Espanyol coach Junade Ramos will continue his interest in Hedman

Sheffield Wednesday have admitted they are interested in Leeds United defedner Danny Hay. The New Zealand international has Champions Leage experience but has struggled with injuries during his stay with Leeds and is keen for a fresh start.

Walsall have completed the signings of Steve Corica and Dani Rodrigues. Corica spent the later part of the season at the Bescot and Rodrigues has struggled with injuries during his spell with Southampton.

Burnley assistant manager Ronnie Jepson has ruled himself out of the running for the vacant managers position at Huddersfield Town.

Ipswich keeper Mateo Sereni now looks to join Brescia on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent deal.

Leicester have appointed Alan Cork as assistant to Micky Adams. Cork was sacked earlier in the year as Cardiff City manager.
