Wimbledon have their application to join the Ryman League turned down. It was hoped that AFC Wimbledon would be allowed to play in the Ryman League from next season but the appplication was rejected.

It is believed that the board of the Ryman League backed the proposal a majority was not gained from the league members. Exact reasons are unknown at the moment but we will bring the latest as soon as we can.

WISA chairperson Kris Stewart told the WISA website "'We're not sure where we go from here, but we'll have a meeting tomorrow, and have a new plan ready by the evening'.
