Brown is out of contract at the end of the season ,and boss Neil Warnock would like this settled now not later.

Brown top scorer with 16 this term , and this uncertainty will make other clubs sit up and look with interest , a host of clubs are reported to be interested in the former Man City lad and Brown looks certain to wait until the last minute on deciding his future.

Warnock stated "Michael could wait and I realise he has to keep his options open."

"But we've been good to each other."

"I've told him he would be foolish not to stay to see what happens." Warnock added
