Walsall defender Ian Roper will be suspended for two games after picking up his 10th booking of the season on Saturday as the Saddlers beat Bradford 2-1. Roper was cautioned for handball at Valley Parade by ref Roy Pearson,meaning he will miss the Saddlers games against Burnley at home on Saturday 15th March and the trip to Preston the following Tuesday.

Hopefully though,Colin Lee will be able to rely on the return from injury of New Zealand international Danny Hay to cover for Ropers absence.Fellow central defender Matt Carbon is also expected to regain full fitness within the next fortnight.
