Blackburn defender is at Bramall Lane today hoping to clinch a move to playoff hopefuls Sheff Utd.

Blackburn defender John Curtis is at present having talks over a move to Bramall Lane , the out of favour defender looks likely his stay in the Premiership may be over but with Sheff Utd in the playoffs a quick return if he choices to move will appeal to him.

The deal will possibly be a loan deal with a permenent deal on the table at the end of the season , the former Man Utd defender signed for Blackburn for £1.5 million has made 70 apperances for Blackburn but only 7 times this season.

A spokesman for the Blades said "We're talking to him this morning about a possible deal , There's no truth in the stories that a deal has been agreed, but we are hoping to sign him."
