Watford have completed the signing of rookey Northwood striker Scott Fitzgerald on a 2 year contract. Scott Fitzgerald has made a dream move from non league Northwood to Division One Watford and landed a two year deal to boot.

Fitzgerald 23 , had been on trial at Chelsea but nothing came of it and the Hornets quickly snapped up the player ,who has hit 23 goals for the Ryman League Outfit Northwood.

Ray Lewington on the official Hornets website spoke about Fitzgerald saying "He's young and enthusiastic but raw and we hope that with full-time coaching we can unlock the talent that he has undoubtedly got."

"It's a big step up, but hopefully given time he'll make that step. We won't be thrusting him straight into the first team." Lewington added
