Burley To Stay

Derby County midfielder Craig Burley has revealed that he will now stay at the club until the end of the season,despite interest from Sheffield United. Burley,31,has been frozen out of the first team picture at Pride Park and has also fallen out with manager John Gregory.Blades boss Neil Warnock revealed last week that he was interested in Burley but it is now believed that he won't be moving clubs until the end of this season.

Burley's contract expires in the summer and he revealed that he had an "amicable discussion with Andrew Mackenzie and Keith Pearson" and "it now looks like I'll be staying until the end of the season."Burley also revealed that paying up his contract was not an option and that "any move for me is now likely to come at the end of the season."
