Pompey keeper Sasa Ilic hopes to be given the go ahead very soon after red tape has scuppered much needed match practice.
Sasa Ilic hopes to have a work permit very shortly - reports from Portsmouth have suggested all the red tape will be sorted and a work permit issued to the Ex Charlton keeper .
Ilic 30 , has missed much needed reserve games due to the permit problem but hopes his Pompey career can finally get off the ground next week.
Pompey Chief Executive Peter Storrie speaking to the clubs official website said "We would hope to have clearance early next week but you can never tell with these things."
