Reading keeper Marcus Hahnemann would like to see English football take the lead on incidents during a game like in American Baseball. With the reported incidents during the game between Burnley and Reading when the Reading keeper was in danger of being struck by objects reportdly thrown from the crowd , Hahnemann would like to see authorites take a stance on incidents during games like they do in Baseball.

Hahnemann speaking on the idea said "In America a baseball game gets stopped the minute anybody throws anything on to the playing surface,"

"The team whose fans are responsible forfeits the game. It is called off there and then and I think they should do that over here." Hahnemann added

The FA are looking into the incident are Burnley are awaiting there findings into the incident.
