Ipswich Town defender Hermann Hreidarsson has been told he will serve a three match ban after his red card was upheld after Saturdays sending off. Herman Hreidarsson will miss three cructial games in this playoff run in , his sending off on Saturday has been upheld by match referee Clive Wilkes .

Hreidarsson and Bradford defender Simon Francis clashed and Hreidarsson was given his marching orders , Wilkes studied the match video and his decision stood.

A club spokesman told the Town official website "The referee stands by his decision and the manager has accepted his judgement.

"Hermann will be banned for three games and misses the matches against Crystal Palace, Wolves and Grimsby."
