Coventry boss Gary Mcallister is back in the hunt to sign Fulham's out of favour midfielder John Collins. Coventry boss Gary Mcallister is back in the fold to get his man John Collins from Fulham , he is very determined to get his first choice signing and to strenghen the squad after recent bad results.

John Collins is on Premiership wages and that is the only thing that is stopping Mcallister in getting Collins in on loan at present.

Mcallister speaking about the Collins bid said "We are still working very hard to bring new people in and I am still hopeful of getting John Collins,"

"We can't afford to pay his wages so we are trying to come to an agreement as to the percentage that we pay while he is with us." Mcallister added

Collins has been out of favour at Fulham and would relish a first team opportunity , he was linked as being a coach at Fulham but never had the chance since his shock Goodison Park exit

Mcallister has also been linked to Partick Thistle midfielder Martin Hardie ,but if the Collins deal goes through the link with the 26 year old who has scored 37 times in 92 games might be brushed to one side for the time being.
