Blades have reported Reading defender Jon Mackie to the FA after alleged racial remarks towards striker Carl Asaba. Neil Warnock has reported Jon Mackie after alleged racial remarks after SheffUtd win at the Madjeski Stadium on Saturday.

Warnock has sent in a report about the incident to the PFA and the FA and he will await a response.

Warnock said on BBC Radio Sheffield "Mackie waited in the tunnel after the game and there was a bit of a fracas but nothing too bad."

"Then when the players went to warm down, there were some racial remarks directed at Carl which we are not accepting.

"Things like that shouldn't be said and we make no bones about writing to the FA and the PFA." raged Warnock

In the current climate of stamping this racial stuff out of football this new alleged incident will be a massive blow to years of campaigning by FA and football clubs.
