Charlton have loaned Ipswich's midfielder Martijn Reuser for 3 months. Charlton boss Alan Curbishley made the move for Reuser after Japanese international Alex's bid for a work permit was turned down.

With Ipswich's financial situation the chance to get Reuser off the wage bill for three months was to good to turn down as boss George Burley revealed to the official site. "In view of our financial position, we have agreed to let Martijn (Reuser) join Charlton".
