Result 25 July: Darley Abbey v Duffield - Darley Abbey win by default

Under 15 trophy semi final matches

Darley Abbey 100-5, Mickleover Sports B 95 all out.

A close encounter saw the Abbey home by just 5 runs. Batting first only Hodgkinson with 22 not out and Gwilliam with 13 reached double figures. However Mr Extras totalled 42 to give the Darley score an air of respectability. Although losing wickets regularly it did appear that the late rally led by Holloway( 27) with tail enders Tizard and Robertson might do the trick for Mickleover. However Hodgkinson struck again with the ball to dismiss both Holloway and Tizard and complete a fine all round performance.

Swarkestone beat A&B by 15 runs in the other semi final ( no details available)

The final is therefore between Swarkestone and Darley Abbey scheduled for the 11th August.
