Miller signs

Leeds have announced the capture of Manchester United's Republic of Irelnad midfielder Liam Miller, on loan until the end of December. With the transfer window currently closed, a short term loan is all that is available toKevin Blackwell. There is no news yet as to whether there is an option to either extend the loan, or make the deal permanent in the New Year.
Leeds have been crying out for some creativity, and Miller fits the bill. Despite not amking the grade accross the Pennines, Miller showed at Celtic his quality, and his capture is a big boost to Leeds. He trained with the players this morning, and goes straight into the squad for tomorrows game with Preston. Blackwell will assess the players fitness before deciding whether to throw him straight into the action, but he will be seen as the player to play alongside the impressive Sean Derry until the end of December at least...
