Sebastian Sainsbury has pulled out of his bid to buy Leeds United. His lawyers have released a statement, as have Leeds saying that at 4.15 today the deal was called off. Where this leaves Leeds now is anyone's guess, and although the Leeds board are still saying they are in talks with interested parties - thought to be local business man Norman Stubbs, administration is now a very real possibility. The official Leeds statement is "Leeds United's board can confirm that at 4.15pm today Sebastien Sainsbury's lawyers have informed Leeds United's lawyers that they will no longer be bidding to take over the club. "Negotiations with other interested parties are ongoing. Further information will be supplied if and when discussions come to a conclusion."
