Sunderland v Leeds - team news

Leeds will be without several players ahead of the Boxing Day clash with Sunderland. Sean Gregan and Simon Walton are suspended, whilst John Oster is not allowed to play as part of his loan agreement With Bakke, Crainey, Radebe and Johnson all on the injury list, boss Kevin Blackwell has a major selection headache. Jamie, McMaster, Aaron Lennon, Julian Joachim and Clarke Carlisle will all be pushing for a place in the starting line up. The trip to Sunderland will be one of the games fans and players alike will be looking forward to. We are two big clubs, who both really belong in the Premiership, Sunderland are flying at the moment, so it’ll be tough for Leeds to get anything out of the game, but Leeds are definitely playing better now than we were in the first dozen or so games.
