John Oster arrested

Leeds winger John Oster was arrested last night after an incident outside a Durham night club. Local paper the Yorkshire Evening Post has reported that the wide man, currently on loan from Sunderland, was held in police custody overnight.

The alledged incident occurred outside the Studio nighclub, The victim didn’t need hospital treatment, and had declined to press charges – Police are reviewing whether to charge the 26 year old, and a 29 year old man held with him. Leeds are yet to release a statement, but Oster’s loan could be cut short if it has been deemed he broke club rules. Oster has been impressive in the 6 weeks he has been at Elland Road, and was looking at gaining a permanent move – that may well be in the balance after last nights events….
