Boro, Spurs and Birmingham chase Mills

Danny Mills looks like he’s at the centre of a three way fight for his signature. The England full back is out of favour at Elland Road, and currently on loan a Middlesbro. It was expected that Boro would tie up a permanent move either in the transfer window or at the end of the season, but they are stalling at Leeds’ asking price of £1.5 million. This has alerted Birmingham and Spurs, both of who’m are monitoring the situation according to the Sunday papers. Boro will be hoping to get Mills on the cheap with the current state of Leeds’ finances, but their delay may in fact push up the price as interested parties come into the equation. Mills’ wages are rumoured to be over £30K and it is unlikely that the ex Charlton man will return to Leeds.
