Leeds make the trip to Man City on Monday, full of confidence after an upturn in form. Caretaker manager Eddie Gray is at his daughters wedding, so head coach Kevin Blackwell takes charge. It is likely the whites will be unchanged, as Gray will go for the tried and tested formation of 4-5-1 which has been so successful in recent weeks. Much will depend on front man Mark Viduka. The big forward has shown signs of getting back to his best recently, and scored his first goal in ten appearances against Fulham, hitting the net with a 20 yard screamer. Man City are a team under pressure, as is manager Kevin Keegan. They have got however, far too many good players to be taken lightly, and we will, without doubt have a game on our hands. Players like Anelka, Mcmanaman and Fowler (remember him?), haven’t been firing on all cylinders recently, but it’s only a matter of time before they bounce back. Wright-Phillips seems to be hitting a run of form, and could prove to be a problem with his pace. The game kicks off at 8.00 and is live on Sky.
