After yet another turbulent week, where the dreaded administration has been mentioned, Leeds go into the clash at 4th placed Charlton ever more desperate for points. Leeds are without Lamine Sakho, but welcome back Smith and Matteo from suspension, Kelly from injury and Pennant for personal reasons. A win would still not be enough to lift Leeds out of the relegation zone, but would at least lift confidence after a run of 6 straight losses. Caretaker boss Eddie Gray will have some tough selection choices, with only Viduka and Smith certain to start, there could be as many as 8 outfield places up for grabs. Kelly should come in at right back, with Matteo, Radebe, Camara, Duberry, Harte and Olenmbe fighting for the 3 other positions. In midfield, Batty, Johnson, Morris, Pennant, Olembe again and last weeks best player Milner are all battling for 4 spots.
Last season saw Leeds win 6-1 courtesy of a Mark Viduka hatrick, two from Kewell and a Harte penalty, that eased their relegation fears – what would Eddie Gray ive for another performance like that….
