Peter Reid APPEARS to have kept his job....

Peter Reid is apparently in a Huddersfield Hotel with Chairman Prof Mckenzie – early indications are that he will hang on to his job, but the future looks increasingly cloudy. There is still no official statement at the moment, but the impression given to reporters is that Reid will still be the manager on Saturday. Whether it is a stay of execution remains to be seen. The fact that Mackenzie flew up from London gives weight that Reid’s future was under review. The meeting this morning in London between Mckenzie and Allan Leighton has been arranged for several weeks, to discuss the clubs finances ahead of the 6 monthly publication of results (which appears to have been delayed for a month). It was only recently that the possibility of sacking Reid was added to the agenda
