Leeds moved to third in the reserve league, after this draw gave them 7 points from 4 games. Both teams fielded young sides, and only a last minute equaliser saved the hme team Leeds snatched a point in injury time in an enthralling reserve match. The undoubted star was once again Aarron Lennon, who made both goals. Leeds had chances early on, loan signing Chapuis missing, and McMaster also went close, before Lennons weaving run led to Domi opening the scoring. Man Utd hit back with two goals before the break, as Leeds’ young side tried to hold on. Leeds continued to press, and Lennon was inches wide with a low shot. Man U went in search of killing the game off, and it almost paid off, when a great chance form 6 yards was hammered over. Leeds were not to be denied though, and Lennon had a hand in the last gasp score, when Johnson found the net from a tight angle. after a cross fell into his path. Lennon must once again come into consideration for Mondays game at Leicester, as he continues to show why he is Leeds’ most talked about youngster for a generation. Other players who will be hoping to get a game were Domi, who looked lively, although a bit rusty, and Chapuis, who still looks as though he needs a few games to adjust to the pace, but the potential is there.
