Macca to fly the nest?

Stephen McPhail has stated that he would be more than happy to sign for Nottingham Forest on a permanent deal, once his 3 month loan spell is completed. The Irish midfielder is currently well down the pecking order at Elland Road, and see's a chance for himself at Forest to kick start his career. The Nottingham manager Paul Hart of course knows Macca from the youth days, when the Irishman was captain of the Hart's triumphant team. With the flurry of activity on transfer deadline day, Macca finds himself behind Olembe, Pennant, Johnson, Sakho, Batty, Morris, Wilcox, Bakke, Milner and Lennon, which makes him around 11th choice!! I'm a big fan of McPhail, but he is at an age now where he needs first team football. Forest's financial position may yet rule out the option of a permanent deal, but Hart has already declared that he wants the deal done...
